Last week my experience-ship included interacting with children from the age range of about 7-12 years old. Myself, L Michelle, Chris and Anthony gave the children insight into virtual & augmented reality. Each child was eager to participate in the activities. There were 2 stations: AR coloring and a VR experience. Each child had the opportunity to color a basketball player named Isaiah and bring him to life while playing a game. Both myself and the children were amazed at the capabilities of their drawings coming to life. The other VR experience allowed the students to use the VR goggles to explore various places such as New York and under the sea. Interacting with the kids was very fun for me.
