Servanthood as a Lifestyle

Just days before my 21st birthday, I had the opportunity to officially begin my Experienceship with Mrs. L. Michelle Salvant of LMichelleMedia. We left Tallahassee around 8:27 AM EST and arrived in Midway, Florida at 8:40 AM EST at Midway Unity Fellowhship Church, where the leaders are Pastor Douglas M. & First Lady Ann Harris. The topic of the Saturday discussion there was Servanthood and how it is essential to one's Growth and Maturity. While at the church, I learned the textbook definition of a servant, which is a person who serves others also known as a devout follower or supporter. I also learned the spiritual definition of a servant, which is being someone who just loves and trusts in the Lord and does it all for Him and His glory with no regard for personal gain. During my couple of hours at the event, I had a chance to meet brand new people who showed me nothing but love and welcomed me with open arms. My conversations with them seemed as if we had known each other our whole lives. The crowd was very responsive to the message Mrs. L.Michelle was giving and I learned not only about Servanthood, but I learned a New Media method to present PowerPoint without a projector. I was also able to see ways to motivate yourself before a big event and how a simple smile can inspire a whole room. I can't wait to see what the rest of this semester has in store for me.
